The “Book of No” tells the story of a girl who seemed to only know "no" for an answer. "No" seemed to be the only answer the girl knew how to give, even when she was asked to do something really, really cool.
With embroidered illustrations, this book invites readers of all ages to ask themselves what they would do in the same circumstances and to consider the importance of saying no.
This first edition will be published in Portuguese only.
A little about how this book came about:
The idea for this book came one morning, as I recalled an episode that happened in the family. After the story was written, the illustrations were embroidered, one by one, in a process that lasted over ten months. When finished, the illustrations were photographed and digitally prepared for printing. This is where we find ourselves: this campaign aims to raise funds for production through pre-orders.
Technical characteristics:
Hardcover book, 32 color pages, with text, embroidered illustrations and design by Ana Isabel Ramos.
All copies will be autographed and will have a dedication if the supporter wishes. The acknowledgments page will contain a list of names of supporters who contributed to the production of the books.
